The Philippine Finance Association (PFA) is the leading association of financing, leasing, and lending companies in the Philippines.
Founded in 1962 as the Philippine Association of Finance Companies Inc. (PAFCI), the Association was organized by pioneers in the financing industry to promote responsible financing practices and support the growth of the industry in the Philippines. In 1997, the Association officially became the Philippine Finance Association (PFA) to expand its membership to financing, leasing, lending, and other financial institutions engaged in consumer finance activities.
PFA works to promote a stronger finance industry by connecting members, supporting best practices, and engaging with stakeholders on matters that affect the sector.
Today, PFA continues to serve as a platform for collaboration, professional development, industry representation, and policy engagement among financing, leasing, and lending companies in the country.

Since its establishment in 1962, PFA has contributed significantly to the growth and development of the financing and lending industry in the Philippines.

PFA contributed to the drafting and passage of Republic Act No. 5980, the Financing Company Act of 1969, and to the first set of rules and guidelines implementing the law.

PFA contributed to Republic Act No. 8556, the Financing Company Act of 1998; helped establish SafeTNet; partnered with the BAP Credit Bureau for NFIS access; supported regional leasing collaboration and the Asian Leasing Association; and continues industry learning and regulatory engagement.
